Blog Post #24- Slight change in plot

When it came to coming up with my final idea, I had a hard time trying to find a way to make the ending look like a continuous ending. To make the ending look continuous I am going to have my protagonist wish for a different life and have her wake up as a new person and end the movie opening there. This way the movie has a whole new plot after the opening ends. I plan on still making the movie realistic. By keeping the main original plot, where it is a teenage girl and her life. This will just demonstrate what it is like being a teenage girl but also have an ending that seems as if it can go on. 

This ending will seem continuous because the original character we were introduced to will all of a sudden change. She will wake up as a whole new person and once she looks in the mirror she will scream and that is when it will end. It seems continuous because there is a whole new plot that was just introduced. See it as a cliffhanger. It leaves the audience members wanting to watch more. 

This will leave people shocked because it is something they did not expect. I am hoping that this comes off as a plot twist. By switching the plot up like this and not keeping it the same will also not have the viewers get bored. This plot will be built up because I am going to have Mia demonstrate a life where she is constantly drained and lost motivation. 

The original plot that was intended by the film is staying the same. And I will continue to show the realistic life of what it is like being a teenager in high school. The only difference is my protagonist wishes the one thing that will change her life forever.
