Blog Post #26- Title of my movie

The title of my movie is "The restart".

I got the name for this movie because at the end of the movie my protagonist wishes for a different life. She wakes up and she is a whole different person. Hence, she "restarted" her life. In the beginning it most likely will not make sense as to how I got the name "restart" but when she wishes for a new life, I hope that is when it will click.

As a teenage girl, or even a teenager in general, when things begin to get hard you sometimes wish things were different and that you were a different person. It does not mean that you actually mean it but sometimes you just wish. When it comes to making my film relatable and relating it to the movie title, I am going to have my protagonist go through common things. What I mean by this is I am not going to have my teenager protagonist go through some crazy unrealistic things. From the beginning of filming, I want to make my film relatable and that still has not changed. My protagonist will go through things like boys, heartbreak, jobs, family troubles and bad grades.

The restart is short and simple and not too long. If this was a hypothetical movie you would not want the movie title to be long you would just want it to get straight to the point. It is short and sweet, easy to remember and not to common. When coming up with a movie title you like to keep it related to your point so that the audience members can connect the dots and relate the title to your film.
