Blog Post #42- My song choice

 

For my film I have decided to use "Beach Baby" by Bon Iver. This song was not on my list of the ones I want to use but listening to it I knew that it was the perfect match for my film. When it comes to picking the right sound for your film you have to take into consideration the pace, the meaning, the tone. The film is a very sad, gloomy film. It did not require an upbeat, fast-paced song. This song is slow paced and fits the theme of my film.

To make sure my sound would not get removed for copyright restrictions I posted a video, and it did not get taken down. This made the desicion a lot easier for the song to pick. This is the video I posted. 

My video did not get removed meaning that I will be using this song in my film.

When putting the sound into my film, it made the scene sadder than it was before. The song choice was the right pick and helped with the mood.
